Plettenberg Bay - a coastal paradise
Plettenberg Bay is a resort town in the heart of South Africa's Garden Route. Swathes of sandy beaches, indigenous forests and the Indian Ocean create a playground for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers. Ocean Blue Ecological adventure leaves from Central Beach with an exciting beach launch and heads east past the bird sanctuary and Keurbooms beach to Arch Rock. Here we usually encounter Bottlenose and the rare Indo-Pacific Humpback Dolphins as well as some shark species.
There are a number of professional paragliding operators on the Garden Route. They offer tandem flights over a wide range of flying areas within an hour from Plett. There is also a launch site within a few hundred meters from Belle Vue Ridge, for flights over the Piesang River valley.

Birds of Eden
The unique two hectare dome (the World's largest) spans over a gorge of indigenous forest. The sanctuary has its own mysterious ruin, which incorporates a walk-behind waterfall. Another feature is its amphitheatre, which has the ability to seat over 200 visitors.

Bloukrans Bungy...This is the ultimate thrill! This IS the highest commercially operated Bungee jump bridge in the world. We secure you in a full body harness and proceed to walk along a specially designed catwalk (216m long), which is suspended beneath the road surface, which will then lead you to the top of the arch - 216 meters above the Bloukrans River.
All Quad bike trails start on the man-made obstacle course at Southern Comfort Horse Ranch to ensure riders are comfortable and feel at ease on the Quad bike. The natural and man-made forest trail offers beautiful scenery and caters for beginners, as well as experienced riders.
